Campaign module overview

The Campaign module allows setting up time-limited offers that are available to individual members who sign up, renew or reactivate a Professional membership.

Offers

There are several types of offers:

• Acquisition - applies to the Individual Join checkout flow
• Renewal - applies to the Individual Renewal checkout flow
• Retention - applies to the (early) Individual Renewal checkout flow
• Reactivation - applies to the Individual Reactivation checkout flow
• Gift of learning - applies to the Gift of Learning checkout flow

For each offer type, you can specify a discount percentage.

Offers may also include a defined number of free products that will be given to members who take advantage of the offer and make a purchase. Currently, the only type of free product offered is a Master Class.

Free products

Members may receive free products bundled with their purchase. Currently, the only supported free product is a Master Class.

Members who have been with IxDF for some time may have already purchased Master Classes that are offered for free. That's why the list of free Master Classes always includes a batch of spare Master Classes - to ensure that members receive a specific number of free Master Classes even if they have already purchased some in the past.

Discount priority on the Individual Join checkout flow

When signing up, new members can receive a discount through one of three different sources:

• Referral program (Refer a Friend / Educational Partner)
• Acquisition offer running as part of a campaign
• Coupon

The discount is selected based on a priority. Discounts from the referral program hold the highest priority, as IxDF promises participants in the Refer a Friend and Educational Partner referral programs that they will be rewarded for inviting new members.

Discount priority on the Individual Renewal checkout flow

There can be two types of offers on the Individual Renewal checkout flow:

• Retention offer — available to Members ready for early renewal (3 months or less until membership expiration)
• Renewal offer — available to Members whose membership already expired
