CDN: New images ​

Where to upload images? ​

Images must be uploaded to ixdf--images bucket.

Naming Convention ​

Files must be stored in a folder relevant to its content. Please do not add images to the root (main directory of images).

Ex.: For the unicorn day we have used the campaigns folder and created a image with the campaign name and the image resolution unicorn-day--no-text--600x600.jpg.

*Have in mind that preview is not available in S3 and having good names will save your and others time when looking for a file.**

Submitting Image(s) ​

  1. First, click in the "Upload" button
  2. Then, click in the "Add files" button
  3. Now, navigate and select the desired image(s): it allows single file or multiple files (no folders allowed)
  4. Click in the "Upload" button in the left corner of the modal. PS: Do not click in the "Next" button as they are exclusive for advanced users (developers in this case)

Updating Existing Images ​

Before You Start ​

Please, make sure a local (your computer) copy is available of the old resource. This will prevent any issue, and you might be able to revert any change if necessary.

Upload ​

  1. First, click in the "Upload" button
  2. Then, click in the "Add files" button
  3. Now, navigate and select the desired image(s): it allows single file or multiple files (no folders allowed)
  4. Click in the "Upload" button in the left corner of the modal.

"Next" button is exclusive for advanced users (developers in this case)

After Update (important!) ​

Our platform is very popular and receives a lot of access. In order to handle all our customers, a cache service is used. Since we take advantage of such resource, images will NOT BE automatically updated.

Whenever images are updated, ask @dev-team to refresh image cache. After a confirmation, it can take up to 15 min. for the image to refresh in the cache edge (see "Availability" section).
