This documents aims to cover all our registered internet domains and use cases for them. It's also important to keep information about retired/removed domains, as often we need to deal with traces of them (redirects, forgotten configs, etc).

Website for our global bike tour.

ixdf.dev

Used exclusively by our staff, primary by the dev team.

staging.ixdf.dev

The main staging site with production-like environment.

rebirth.ixdf.dev

IxDF v5 beta site, used for testing and development.

ixdf.io

The domain is being used for link shortening (utm.io).

ixdf.org

Originally created for short URLs. Will be used for the IxDF v5 aka Rebirth and eventually fully replace interaction-design.org.

information-architecture.org

Originally created to hold the domain, but then used for internal needs by dev team. Devs are migrating from this domain to ixdf.dev subdomains.
